Noémie Ndiaye, Associate Professor of English and Romance Languages & Literatures, published her first monograph in September 2022. Since its publication, Scripts of Blackness: Early Modern Performance Culture and the Making of Race has earned numerous awards:

Graduate student Paulina León was recognized with the Society for Renaissance and Baroque Hispanic Poetry (SRBHP) 3rd Founders' Prize for Best Graduate Student Paper.

This past weekend (October 6-7, 2023), RLL scholars participated in the VI Consortium Workshop for Language Teaching and Learning at Princeton University. The workshop explored how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing language acquisition.

Kirsten Lopez, a graduate student in French and Francophone Studies, will serve in 2023-24 as an Academic Engagement Fellow at the Feitler Center for Academic Inquiry.
