Pol Galofre Molero is a scholar of film and media studies whose work examines catalan queer culture and transgender representation in contemporary media. His research focuses on transmasculinity in audiovisual media, with particular attention to European, Spanish and Catalan productions. Drawing on trans studies, feminist media theory, and cultural policy analysis, his work combines close textual analysis with a critical understanding of institutional and industrial contexts.

Pol Galofre Molero is a scholar and cultural practitioner working at the intersection of film and media studies, trans studies, and cultural analysis. He holds a degree in Film, Media and Audiovisual Communication from ESCAC and a Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. His research and teaching focus on catalan queer culture, transgender representation, contemporary television, and the institutional and cultural conditions shaping audiovisual production.

He has taught in the Master’s program in Gender and Communication at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and has worked extensively as a consultant on gender and sexual diversity in film and cultural projects. He was a founding member of the Cultura Trans project in Barcelona and edited "Políticas Trans: Una antología de textos desde los estudios trans norte americanos" (Egales, 2015). Previously, he worked at La Bonne, Centre de Cultura de Dones Francesca Bonnemaison, and as part of the founding team of the Barcelona LGBTI Center. He currently resides in Chicago, where he works as a Project Manager at Northwestern University’s Impact Institute, and as a Part-time Lecturer at the University of Chicago.
