RLL faculty member Danielle Roper currently serves as the Caribbean Chair for the Cultural Constructions of Race and Racism Research Collective (CCRRRC). The CCRRRC is an open access platform from Lateral, the journal of the Cultural Studies Association.
According to Danielle, she is part of a “global network of media makers, scholars, and activists dedicated to working with our communities to identify and dismantle white supremacy, colorism, and anti-Black racism as they appear in popular culture.”
