The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures is pleased to announce that several of our faculty will be promoted or reappointed in 2024. Congratulations to Professors Maria Anna Mariani, Noel Blanco Mourelle, Khalid Lyamlahy, and Federica Caneparo!
- Maria Anna Mariani has been promoted to the rank of Associate Professor with tenure in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and the College, effective 1 July 2024.
- Noel Blanco Mourelle has been reappointed for a second term as Assistant Professor in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and the College, starting July 1, 2024.
- Khalid Lyamlahy has been reappointed for a second term as Assistant Professor in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and the College, starting July 1, 2024.
- Federica Caneparo, currently a Research Associate, has accepted a new position as Research Associate Professor in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and in the Humanities Collegiate Division, effective January 1, 2024.
