Miguel Martínez, Assistant Professor of Spanish Literature, has published his new book, Front Lines: Soldiers' Writing in the Early Modern Hispanic World. The book documents and investigates written works on war by Spanish soldier -- a set of works that has, thus far, been nearly completely ignored by modern scholarship.
