Mónica Ruiz House, who recently earned an undergraduate degree in Romance Languages and Literatures, has fought passionately for migrants’ rights throughout her time at the College. Recently, she was awarded a $10,000 Projects for Peace grant to work with No More Deaths, an Arizona-based organization focused on migrant advocacy.

Daisy Delogu, a Professor of French Literature, has helped Chicago Public School students prepare for higher education through her involvement with the University of Chicago’s Collegiate Scholars Program (CSP). Through CSP, Prof. Delogu has served as a mentor to high school students like Megha Khemka, who willattend Harvard Universitythis fall.
