Maria Anna Mariani, Assistant Professor of Modern Italian Literature, has just published a book titled Voci da Uber. Confessioni a motore, the result of dozens of interviews she conducted among Chicago's Uber drivers.
On December 10, the Italian Consul General in Chicago, dott. Giuseppe Finocchiaro, presented Prof. Robert Kendrick with the Italian Republic’s Order of Merit. This honor recognizes his contributions to the study of Italian music.
