Etienne Grateau

Research Interests: Life writing, testimonial literature, archival studies, and interactions between literature and photography

Etienne received a B.A in « Literature and Social Sciences » and a M.A in « Comparative Literature » from the University Paris-Cité. 
His dissertation project studies the use of documents and investigation practices in contemporary French and Francophone genealogical texts, sometimes called « narratives of ancestry. »

He is currently on an exchange in Paris at the École normale supérieure – PSL.
