Speakers
Get to know the faculty, artists, writers, and public figures taking part in UChicago's Arts & Humanities Day 2026. Each speaker has a dedicated page with a short bio and a list of the presentations they're leading, so you can learn more about the people behind the conversations and find the sessions that spark your interest. Whether you're drawn to a particular field or a familiar name, exploring the speakers is a great way to start planning your day.

TAPS Auditions
Auditions are open to all current University of Chicago students, regardless of major. Every quarter is a new opportunity to get involved and start learning, making friends, and making art!
Auditioning isn't the only way to get involved. The whole experience is open to you, from the first draft to the closing curtain. We're also looking for production staff, stage managers, designers, administrative support, and eager arts enthusiasts.

All are gorgeously intelligent and compelling works driven by passionate inquiries and inventive creative processes. They were developed within a cohort of students whose generosity was palpable – whether in generative brainstorming, gentle encouragement, rigorous critique, or celebratory cheer. BA projects mark the culmination of a student’s studies in TAPS.
