Beginning Elementary French III

This course is the final course in the three-quarter beginning sequence and builds on the work completed in FREN 10200. It further develops students’ communicative proficiency through sustained, task-based engagement with authentic cultural content.

The course emphasizes functional proficiency across present, past, and future time frames and engages students across all three modes of communication (interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational). Continued engagement with French and Francophone content fosters cultural awareness and supports deeper intercultural reflection. Successful completion of FREN 10300 fulfills the College’s language competence requirement.

Prerequisites
FREN 10200, FREN 12001, FREN 14100 or placement into FREN 10300.
