I was born and raised in the small town of Benilloba, Alicante, in Spain. A language enthusiast from early childhood, I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting from Universitat de València. During my BA, I studied both general and technical text translation, focusing on Spanish into English and French into Spanish. Studying translation courses motivated me to deepen my skills and experience in the field of translation. I value that translation is practical and contemporary, and fosters opportunities for learning. During my BA, I studied a year abroad at Cardiff University. After graduating from college in 2020, I moved to Reims, France, to teach students of collège and lycée (middle school and high school), where my task was to promote the culture and traditions of the Spanish language. The main objective of the program was for students to improve their level of spoken Spanish. My work method consists of looking for dynamic activities that promote the use of the language and awaken the students' curiosity and desire to learn more about Spanish and Spanish culture, festivals, and traditions. I also hold an MA in Translation English-Spanish/Spanish-English from Kent State University, where I worked at the same time as a Spanish Teaching Assistant for the Department of Modern & Classical Language Studies. My main responsibilities were to teach Spanish from the very beginning, support students, and help them meet their language requirements.
