Massimo Fusillo is Professor of Literary Theory and Comparative Literature at the University of L’Aquila (Italy), where he is Coordinator of the PhD Program on Literatures, Arts and Media, and Vice Chancelor for cultural activities. He is also member of the Executive Council of the International Association of Comparative Literature (ICLA), and of the Academia Europaea. Among his publications: Naissance du roman (Seuil, 1992); La Grecia secondo Pasolini (Carocci, 2007); Estetica della letteratura, (Il Mulino, 2009; Machado 2012); his last book was translated in 2014 by Champion and in 2017 by Bloomsbury: The Fetish. Literature, cinema, visuality; he co-edited, together with S. Ercolino, M. Lino, L. Zenobi, Imaginary Films in Literature, Rodopi, 2016; and with Piero Boitani Letteratura europea (5 voll, UTET 2014).
