Two graduate students in Romance Languages and Literatures had their photos selected to be part of the Center for Latin American Studies' annual Vistas exhibit. Paulina León's El Palenque de mezcal, was snapped in Oaxaca (Mexico), while Luis Madrigal's Giant Steps was taken in Bolivia.
The Vistas exhibit allows the Center to highlight the importance of undergraduate and graduate research in Latin America and the Caribbean. Photographs for are selected for their creativity, diversity and subject matter, composition, and scenery.
Paulina's and Luis's photographs can be viewed at the Center for Latin American Studies (Kelly Hall 114) along with other winning submissions through November 2019.
