Maxime Decout is maître de conférences at the Université Lille 3 – Charles de Gaulle. He is the author of Albert Cohen : les fictions de la judéité (Classiques-Garnier, 2011), Écrire la judéité. Enquête sur un malentendu dans la littérature française (Champ Vallon, 2015), and En toute mauvaise foi - Sur un paradoxe littéraire (Éditions de Minuit, 2015). He has edited special issues of the journal Europe on Georges Perec and Romain Gary, and is in charge of the critical edition of La Disparition et Les Revenentes for the forthcoming publication of Perec’s complete works with the Bibliothèque de la Pléiade.
