An Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies and the College, Khalid Lyamlahy published his second novel, Evocation d'un mémorial à Venise, in 2023. Since its publication, the novel has earned numerous recognitions.

Last Wednesday, February 21, we celebrated our second annual pedagogical RLL Share Fair, an opportunity for everyone teaching in our language programs to gather, share tips and strategies, and discuss classroom practices.

In October 2023, the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures hosted the inaugural Virgilio Lecture Series. The lecture series, featuring Adriana Cavarero (Università degli studi di Verona), was entitled “Women and Monsters: the uncanny of maternity in literary imagination."
