Joshua Baker joined the department of Romance Language and Literatures in the Fall of 2012. He received his BA in Spanish (2009) from Temple University and a Master’s degree in Comparative Studies of Literature, Philosophy and Art (2010) from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. His main research interests are comprised of 20th and 21st Century Spanish Peninsular literature, autobiography, autofiction and Catalan studies. Other areas of scholarly interest include the interrelationships of literature and philosophy, film, history and literary theory.
