Catalan Lecturer
Carles Bartual Martin specializes in Catalan language and literature and foreign language acquisition. A native speaker of Catalan and Spanish, Carles studied both in Catalonia (Spain) and Italy. He taught Catalan and Spanish courses to both undergraduates and graduates. He currently teaches beginners, intermediate and advanced language and culture classes at the University of Chicago and coordinates the Catalan language program.
