Senior Lecturer and Portuguese Coordinator
Ana Maria Lima's scholarship includes works on multimedia approaches to language acquisition and pedagogy, A native of Brazil, she earned her MA in Comparative Literature at San Francisco State University and completed her PhD coursework in Comparative Literature at The University of Chicago. Ms. Lima has taught Portuguese language and Brazilian and Portuguese literatures at universities in Brazil and the US. She has authored two multi-media projects funded by the Consortium for Language Teaching and Learning, "Brazil: Sounds and Scenes" and "Portuguese Irregular Verbs in HyperCard".
