Senior Lecturer and Co-Coordinator of the French Language Program
Claude Grangier has been working in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures for fifteen years and had almost two decades of experience teaching French as a foreign language before she arrived at the University of Chicago. Claude's interest in foreign language pedagogy is theoretical as well as practical. She has presented a few papers on foreign-language teaching methodology. She is the co-author (with Nadine di Vito) of the first-year French textbook used at the University of Chicago, and the author of the second-year French textbook used at the University of Chicago.
