Claude Grangier has been working in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures for over 20 years and had 15 years of experience teaching French as a foreign language before she arrived at the University of Chicago. Claude's interest in foreign language pedagogy is theoretical as well as practical. She has presented a few papers on foreign-language teaching methodology.  She is the co-author (with Nadine Di Vito) of the first-year and second-year French textbooks Comme on dit & C'est ce qu'on dit  to be published in 2015 by Georgetown University Press.
