Professor Jennifer Wild's recent book, The Parisian Avant-Garde in the Age of Cinema, 1900-1923, has been awarded an honorary mention by the 2014-15 Wylie Prize in French Cultural Studies commitee. The prize was created in 1995 to honor the memory of Laurence Wylie, Professor of French Civilization at Harvard University. It has been awarded every second year to an outstanding book in French social or cultural studies. Forty-two books were nominated for this year’s prize.
